Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer famous for his unique mixture of soul gospel, R&B and R&B. From Broadway to European festival and clubs, Avery Sunshine has been a hit across the globe. Sunshine Her real name is Denise White. While she is living in Atlanta now, Sunshine is originally from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she began her career as a musician playing and singing at the local church. She attended Spellman College in Atlanta where she started her journey into music in the Atlanta's R&B scene. In 2005, she was the drummer in Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice and her music, invited Sunshine to sing in the Dreamgirls show during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was brought to the attention of America during the daily performances of four at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later asked to sing in the presence of President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
